Gearbox Software boss Randy Pitchford would "love" to see a PlayStation Vita variation of impending co-op initially - individual shooter Borderlands two .

Talking at Rezzed ( by means of ), Pitchford admitted that Gearbox is also occupied to make the video game for Sony's handheld process, but would love for it could be an outside developer to develop a Vita variation of the video game expressing enjoyment over the prospective of the cloud powered connectivity between the PlayStation three and Vita.

"One of the things I hope Sony would do is get at the rear of Borderlands, mainly because I'd really like to see a Vita version of the video game," he said. "I want to be capable to have the character I'm functioning on with my PS3, and then when I'm on the road with my Vita I can just keep producing that exact same character simply because it exists on the cloud somewhere."

"Technologically, that's achie vable," he added ahead of contacting on the crowd to help pressure Sony into producing a Vita edition of Borderlands two .

"Perhaps some of you individuals can convince Sony to commence that," he stated. "We're way too active to produce it ourselves. But I know there are a good deal of proficient builders who could require our code, our supply and our material and maybe create something like that," he mentioned. "That would be interesting to me."

This isn't the initially we've listened to from Pitchford about bringing the Borderlands two to the Vita. Again in February, a fan made a Reddit thread in hopes of gaining the assistance and traction wanted to publicly persuade 2K and Sony into generating a Vita version. The consumer emailed Gearbox and allegedly obtained a response again from Pitchford who basically claimed the similar thing we read at Rezzed: that they require some "partner's aid and spou se 's commitments" to make it take place.
