MLB 12: The Show predicts 2012 All-Star Game winner

Mark it down, the National League All-Stars will beat the American League All-Stars by a score of 3-2 tonight at the Midsummer Classic when the best of this year's ballplayers take the field tonight in attempt to win bragging rights and home-field advantage in the World Series.

Sony has simulated the 2012 All-Star Game with MLB 12 The Show to predict a victory for the NL All-Stars to make it three in a row after a 13-year winless streak. Seeing as how MLB 12 The Show is one of the top rated sports games for the past four years and probably the most authentic baseball game available, there's really no reason to doubt Sony's expertise on the matter. And before you doubt the reliability of video games, let it be known that Madden NFL 12 correctly predictedt he Giants to win over the Patriots in SUper Bowl XLVI.

But how will this NL victory come about? SCEA San Diego Studios Community Manager Ramone Russell has provid ed us with a video highlighting the top plays from the simulated All-Star Game. So sit back and enjoy the predicted highlights of tonight's game. The 83rd Major League Baseball All-Star Game will be televised nationally on FOX at 8:00 pm EST.

In other news, Sony also launched MLB 12 The Show's Home Run Derby Online. Now available on PSN, you can swing for the fences against one or seven other users online (2-8 players simultaneously) for a chance to be crowned the Home Run Derby champion and earn extra XP.
